Equality March: Vaiko presented the flag.
Tamil Nadu: MDMK General Secretary Vaiko on Friday launched the flag for his ‘Equality March,’ which will begin in Trichy.
After launching the flag at the MDMK headquarters, Thayagam, in Egmore, Chennai, he told reporters:
“Emphasizing the eradication of drugs and the prevention of caste and religious conflicts, the ‘Equality March’ under my (Vaiko’s) leadership, on behalf of the MDMK, will begin in Trichy on January 2 and conclude in Madurai on January 12.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will hand over to me the flag representing all religious places of worship created for the ‘Equality March’ and inaugurate the march. Leaders of the DMK alliance parties will participate in the event. 1,000 young people are joining me on this march.
The Madras High Court’s Madurai Bench’s judgment in favor of those who incited religious riots in the Tirupparankundram case is not correct.” He also stated that the DMK will win the elections with a huge majority.
