EOW questioned 2 more excise officers, were working with AP Tripathi

Raipur: EOW has intensified action in the Chattisgarh liquor scam case. After the arrest of Prism Holography Company’s state head Dilip Pandey, the EOW team called two officers posted in the Excise Department for questioning. These officers were questioned for three hours and a five-page statement was taken in writing.

In this, the excise officers have given evidence against some officers who helped the syndicate and were involved in every work of the syndicate. To ensure that the officers who gave a five-page statement in the EOW interrogation do not turn back during the statement in the court, the EOW team is preparing to get the statement recorded in front of the judge.

EOW officials have so far recorded the statements of more than half a dozen people in the liquor scam. Among these, there are many people who are also accused of being involved in this scam.

After recording the statements of two excise officers, EOW officers will call two more officers for questioning. These are the officers who were very close to AP Tripathi, who was part of the core group of the syndicate. This year, these officers had got the transfer list released as per their convenience to help the syndicate.
