Entry shot in ‘Kandahar’ one of the most difficult scenes for me: Ali Fazal

Mumbai (IANS) | Gerard Butler and Ali Fazal starrer Hollywood action-spy thriller film ‘Kandahar’ has a variety of action sequences. There is a lot of stunt work in it. Ali had many stunt scenes and one of these stunts was very difficult. Speaking about shooting the stunt, Ali Fazal said: “While shooting for Kandahar, I remember shooting one of the most difficult scenes and I think the most iconic shot for me was my entry. In this scene, a helicopter is flying over the sea. And just before he got off, I opened the door and jumped out. Then sat in the moving van. Here we run away and then the van goes into the valley and stops. I get down from the van and sit on the bike. In this scene, I have to get off the bike while taking a turn on the sand and then run in the other direction.

He added: And that was probably one of the most difficult shots I was a part of in the film. It was all back to back, keeping a straight path on the bike moving on the sand was the hardest. I was trying to keep my balance and keep the bike steady. I am happy with the way it turned out.

A Hollywood production made on an estimated budget of $70 million, the film stars Gerard Butler, Travis Fimmel, Ali Fazal, Tom Rae Harries, Farhad Bagheri, Olivia-Maie Barrett and Navid Naghban.

The film is directed by Rick Roman Waugh. Ali Fazal plays the villainous Pakistani agent and Taliban collaborator Kahil Nasil in the film.
