Engineer cheated by taking Rs 20 lakh as processing fee

Bilaspur. A case of fraud of Rs 31 lakh with a railway engineer has come to light in Chhattisgarh. Cyber ​​​​fraudsters had lured engineer Anil Ekka to earn profit in the stock market. The victim has registered a case in the Cyber ​​​​Range Police Station.

According to the information, the victim Anil Ekka is working as an Assistant Executive Engineer in the Railways. Engineer Anil received a message on WhatsApp from an unknown number on his mobile to invest in the stock market and earn more profit. The engineer was asked to fill a form and download the app through the link. On putting money in it, small profits started coming. The profit on the app started increasing and showed Rs 81 lakh in a few months. When Anil tried to withdraw it, he was asked for a processing fee of Rs 20 lakh.

In greed, engineer Anil Ekka took a loan from the bank to withdraw money from the app. He also asked for some money from friends and put Rs 31 lakh in the app. But the app suddenly closed down. The victim Anil Ekka has lodged a complaint in the Range Cyber ​​​​Police Station. The police has started taking action in the case.
