Encounter in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, one terrorist killed

Srinagar: A terrorist was killed on Thursday in the ongoing operation against terrorists hiding in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police said that the body of an unidentified terrorist was lying at the encounter site in Frasipora village, two km from Pulwama city. Police said, the operation is still going on. After receiving intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the village, the army and police launched a cordon and search operation early Thursday. As soon as the security forces came close to the hiding terrorists, they started firing. After this the security forces also retaliated. Police said that the search is going on in the area.
