Encounter between police and miscreants: One shot, another arrested in combing

Noida: In the encounter between Noida Police and miscreants on Wednesday morning, one miscreant was arrested in injured condition after being shot while his other accomplice was caught in a combing operation after fleeing from the spot. A stolen rifle has also been found from the arrested criminals. Dozens of cases are registered against both of them in various police stations. Police said that Police Station Phase-1 was investigating near the marriage procession house. Just then two suspects were seen coming and were signaled to stop. But they started firing at the police and running away. In the retaliatory action taken by the police, a criminal Rubel (21) was injured by bullet. The second miscreant fled from the spot. During the combing, another criminal Dayal Singh was also arrested. One stolen 315 bore rifle, two shells and seven live cartridges (315 bore) have been recovered from the possession of the accused. Dozens of cases of robbery and theft are registered against the accused in different police stations.
