Elephants gnaw grains by damaging houses, rural families in panic

Jashpur. The mischief of elephants continues in Chhattisgarh. On Friday night, an elephant wandering in search of food entered the village. He destroyed a house and also devoured the grains kept there. The case pertains to Pathal village forest area.

According to the information received, an elephant was roaming in Saritola village of Pathal village forest area. He entered inside a house late at night in search of food. The house got damaged and the elephant also licked the grains kept there. The forest department team that reached the spot also failed to drive away the elephant. The team has issued an alert in the village.
