Elephant came out of the forest on the road, created a stir

This morning the pedestrians going to Sirpur have seen the elephant standing on the road. According to the information, the elephant damaged the Rabi crops grown in the fields in village Kheersali on Monday night. After this, he broke the wall of a villager’s house in Phuseradih and proceeded towards Lahangar. In this way, the villagers are again in panic due to the wandering of Dantail. According to the Forest Department, this elephant was roaming in the forest between Lahangar, Gudrudih, Banskura, Birbira in room number 12, 13, 14 on Tuesday.
After this, the villagers of the area’s villages Lahangar, Parsadih, Gudrudih, Kukradih, Malidih, Pirda, Birbira, Banskura, Kuhri, Kodar, Kaunwajhar, Tumgaon, Banjari, Lohardih, Sorid have been alerted. People living in all these villages and surrounding villages have been appealed not to go towards the forest. On Tuesday night itself, the department had expressed the possibility of Dantail moving ahead across NH 53. This tusk elephant was roaming in the forest between Amalor, Chhataldbari, Nandbaru, Sukulbai in Forest Development Corporation room number 133, 134, 176 on Sunday.
