Electricity workers took help of buffalo cart to install transformer, video goes viral

Kawardha. The system of the electricity department is dependent on buffalo cart. A similar scene was seen in Kawardha district, where the electricity department had to take the help of buffalo cart to transport the transformer to the pole. This effort failed not once but twice, after which the villagers living in darkness have warned of agitation. The video of the entire incident is going viral.

While the electricity system of many villages is stalled due to continuous heavy rains in the district, the negligence of the electricity department has made the situation worse. The villagers of Tamruwa village have been struggling with the problem of electricity for the last one month. The villagers have burst out in anger as the problem has not been resolved yet despite the complaint.

The villagers said that they had informed the electricity department about the transformer being damaged a month ago, but the department did not take any cognizance. When the villagers contacted the officials several times, then the department team reached the village. But here the height of negligence was seen – the transformer was loaded on a buffalo cart and taken to the electricity pole through the fields, which also caused damage to the standing crops of the farmers.
