Earlier, the Election Commission of India on Thursday held a two-day conference with Chief Electoral Officers of all states and Union Territories to review the preparations for the elections.
Preparations for the next general elections to be held this year were discussed at the conference that began on Thursday at the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) in New Delhi.
