Elderly man brutally murdered

Muzaffarpur: In Muzaffarpur, Bihar, miscreants entered the house and brutally murdered an elderly man. The miscreants stabbed the old man to death with a knife while he was sleeping. The incident took place in Chainpur village of Türkiye OP.

The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old Mahendra Mahato of Chainpur village, who used to run a tea shop in the village. It is being told that Mahendra Mahato was sleeping in his room late on Monday night, when the miscreants entered the house and killed Mahendra Mahato with a knife. The family members came to know about the incident on Tuesday morning. There is chaos among the family members after this incident.

After getting information about the incident from the villagers, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Dog squad and FSL team have been called to the spot. At present the police is busy finding the reason for the murder. DSP West Abhishek Anand said that information about the incident has been received, the police team has reached the spot. The reason for the incident is not clear, investigation is being done.
