The fast of Ekadashi is kept for the sake of Lord Narayan. It is believed that those who keep fast on Kamda Ekadashi get freedom from painful life. It is believed that the one who observes this fast according to the rules and regulations, both his body and mind become pure. This year Kamda Ekadashi fast will be observed on both 1st and 2nd April. According to Panchang, Chaitra Shukla Ekadashi (Kamada Ekadashi Vrat 2023) date will start on April 1, 2023 at 01:58 am and will end on the next day, April 02, 2023, at 04:19 am.

By observing this fast one attains the same virtue as by donating a girl child and donating food. This time Baruthini Ekadashi (Baruthini Ekadashi 2023) is falling on 16 April. Let us tell you that Baruthini Ekadashi will start at 8.45 on 15th April, which is going to last till 6.15 on the next day, 16th April.
