Eight IPS officers transferred in UP

Lucknow (IANS) | The Uttar Pradesh government transferred eight IPS officers on Monday morning. Those transferred include Nilabja Chowdhary, Joint CP (Crime) Lucknow, who has been sent to Kanpur in the same post. Akash Kulhari has been transferred from Prayagraj and has been made ACP of Lucknow in place of Chaudhary. Ravi Shankar Chhavi, a 2007 batch ACP of Noida Commissionerate, has been made Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Public Grievances, DGP Headquarters, Lucknow.

Amit Verma, a 2008 batch officer, has been retained in his present post and his transfer to Kanpur as ACP has been cancelled.

Anti-Corruption Organization DIG Bablu Kumar has been sent to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Noida, while Pawan Kumar has been sent to JCP, Prayagraj. He was working as Superintendent of Police (SP) Anti-Narcotics Task Force Headquarters, Lucknow.

Suniti has been transferred as SP Admin, DGP HQ Lucknow to Noida as JCP.

Sharda Narendra Pandey, a 2017 batch IPS officer, has been sent as Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP), Prayagraj.
