On Sunday, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in the north-western and adjacent northern parts of the state. A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain in Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Latehar and Lohardaga including Ranchi. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms during this period.
