Educators disappointed by Telangana govt’s ‘teacher reshuffle’ decision

HYDERABAD: Following the School Education Department’s order to reorganise school units and reshuffle teachers in government schools, the teachers on Saturday opposed the decision and called the development ‘unscientific’ and ‘irrational’. The decision was taken on Friday to address the uneven teacher-student ratio issue in government schools.

Various government teachers’ organisations said that the GO 25 was unscientific and irrational and that the adjustment exercise would not address the issue entirely.
