Education Minister of Bihar touched the feet of Nitish Kumar

Patna (IANS)| Bihar Education Minister Chandrashekhar Yadav touched Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s feet at a public event on Wednesday, triggering speculation in the state’s political circles. People believe that ever since Tejashwi Yadav and other members of Lalu Prasad family have come under the radar of CBI and ED, RJD leaders are adopting defensive strategy.

Newly appointed Chief Justice of Patna High Court A.K. Yadav’s gesture took everyone by surprise at Vinod Chandran’s swearing-in ceremony in the presence of leaders like Vijay Kumar Chowdhury, Sanjay Jha and others.

Sources say that Tejashwi Yadav is looking weak regarding the land case for the job and CBI and ED are constantly putting pressure on him.

It was Chandrashekhar Yadav who gave a controversial statement on Ramcharitmanas in January, which created a big controversy in Bihar. Even alliance partner JDU claimed that he was batting on BJP’s pitch. Nitish Kumar publicly said that his statement is not correct. Though knowing that Nitish Kumar is not happy with him, despite the criticism, Yadav said he would stick to his stand.
