ED tightens noose on sand traders in Bihar, raids in Arrah

Patna: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is tightening its grip on sand mafia in Bihar. After the arrest of big sand businessman Subhash Yadav, the premises of two people were raided in Bhojpur district on Saturday. It is said that ED raided the premises of Ara sand traders Punj Kumar Singh and Krishna Mohan Singh. According to sources, the ED team reached Arrah’s Anand Nagar and Koilwar’s residence in the morning and is conducting searches. It is being told that this action has been taken regarding illegal business related to sand. Both are said to be partners in sand business. Punj Kumar Singh is accused of revenue theft. Both are also associated with Broadsons Company. In the last few months, ED has taken action against many sand traders and politicians of Bihar. Recently, ED had raided many places of big sand businessman Subhash Yadav. Later he was arrested.
