ED conducts raid at NGO in Rs 231 Bank fraud case in Sambalpur
Sambalpur: The Enforcement Directorate has conducted raid at a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in Sambalpur of Odisha to probe an alleged Rs 231 crore bank money fraud case.
As per reports, the ED officials conducted raid on a Voluntary Organisation named BISWA in Gopalmal area of Sambalpur today morning. Raids were reportedly conducted at three places including the house of Pitabas Sethy, a key position holder of the NGO in this connection.
The whole area has been cordoned by CRPF personnel. Till this report was written, the raids were underway.
It has been learnt that ED is probing a bank fraud case or about Rs 231 crore.
