Earthquake tremors felt in Bijnor

Uttar Pradesh. Earthquake tremors have been felt in Bijnor. The intensity of this earthquake that occurred on Monday morning has been measured at 2.8 on the Richter scale. Its center is said to be 10 km deep inside the ground.

According to the National Center for Seismology, earthquake tremors were felt in Bijnor at 4:33 this morning. Its center was 10 km deep in Bijnor itself. Earlier on Sunday, at around 11 am, an earthquake was felt in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The intensity of the earthquake was recorded at 3.6 on the Richter scale.

The National Center for Seismology (NCS) had told that the tremors were felt 218 km from Pachmarhi. No damage was reported in this earthquake.

Earlier on Friday late night, earthquake tremors were felt in Andaman and Nicobar. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 4.0 on the Richter scale.

According to NCS, the earth shook in Port Blair on Friday at around 11:56 pm. There are seven tectonic plates inside the earth. These plates keep rotating continuously. When these plates collide with each other. rubs. climb on top of each other or move away from them, then the ground starts shaking. This is called earthquake. The Richter scale is used to measure earthquakes. Which is called the Richter Magnitude Scale.

The Richter Magnitude Scale ranges from 1 to 9. The intensity of an earthquake is measured from its center ie epicenter. That is, the energy coming out of that center is measured on this scale. 1 means low intensity energy is coming out. 9 means maximum. Terrible and destructive wave. They become weak as they go away. If the intensity shows 7 on the Richter scale, then there is a strong shock in the radius of 40 kilometers around it.
