Earned more than Rs 487 crore from goods traffic in the month of April
Jabalpur. West Central Railway is making continuous efforts to increase the railway revenue by increasing the goods traffic of all the three divisions of Jabalpur, Bhopal and Kota. As a result, under the efficient guidance of the General Manager of PMR, Mr. Sudhir Kumar Gupta and under the leadership of Chief Commercial Manager and Operations Department, in the month of April of the current financial year, an originating income of Rs. 413 crores 24 lakhs which is about 18 per cent higher than Rs.
The goods traffic revenue in the three divisions in the month of April is as follows: –
Jabalpur division earned Rs. 297 crore 79 lakh originating income from goods traffic, which is about 09 percent more as compared to Rs. 274 crore 02 lakh in the same period last year.
Bhopal division earned Rs 94 crore 38 lakh originating income from goods traffic, which is about 32 percent more as compared to Rs 71 crore 71 lakh in the same period last year.
Kota Division earned originating income from goods traffic of Rs 95 crore 07 lakh, which is about 41 percent more as compared to Rs 67 crore 52 lakh in the same period last year.
