During the review meeting, there was delay in construction work, the commissioner became strict

Bhilai. A review meeting was called under the chairmanship of Commissioner Rajiv Kumar Pandey for detailed discussion on the topics of various development works. In the meeting, mainly the development works being done from infrastructure, state-sponsored, MP fund, MLA fund, councilor fund, basic and 15th Finance Commission were reviewed. The Commissioner has directed all the officers that whatever development work is being done, it should be completed in time with quality.

The Commissioner has inspected different zone areas by visiting in the morning. He monitored the development work being done by the officers on the spot. All the officers were instructed that whatever deficiency is there should be resolved immediately.

In the meeting, information was obtained about the status of progress of work from the concerned officer of the development work being done by different departments. The Commissioner has given instructions to blacklist those contractors who are delaying the work, or are not doing the work of quality or negligence is being shown in the work. The Commissioner said that the process from making proposal for new work to getting work order and completion of the work should be done within the time limit.
