DURG: There is no water logging in Bhilai Municipal Corporation due to continuous rain

Bhilai News. It is raining continuously since the onset of monsoon rains. As per the instructions of Commissioner Devesh Kumar Dhruv, the team of Commissioner and Disaster Management Flood Control of all zones of Municipal Corporation Bhilai is alert. Officers and employees of all zones of the corporation are visiting the lower settlements and inspecting, there is no water logging anywhere. Employees of the corporation are cleaning those places where there is a possibility of water hyacinth, weeds, old trees etc. getting stuck in the drains. So that the rain water continuously flows forward through the drains and there is no water logging of any kind.

Chhattisgarh News Helpline counter is working 24 hours in the flood control cell. In view of the possibility, JCB and diesel-powered motor pumps have been arranged in all zones. If required, water can be drained immediately. The zone team is also visiting with the demolition squad. The Corporation Commissioner has appealed to the citizens that in case of any water logging problem, they can contact the Corporation’s control room.

To prevent seasonal water-borne diseases like diarrhea or food poisoning, drink boiled water. Consult a doctor if vomiting or diarrhea occurs more than three times. Keep drinking ORS by mixing salt and sugar in clean water at home. So that there is no shortage of water in the body. Due to lack of water in the body, lethargy starts. Contact the doctor immediately, there may be symptoms of diarrhea. Being alert is the biggest protection.
