Durg News: Playing DJ at high volume will be confiscated

Durg news. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain today through video conferencing from Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan, regarding regular meeting of Road Safety Committee/control of stray cattle, progress of seizure, prosecution and confiscation for noise pollution control in the year 2024, progress of additional and proposed barracks/jail construction works being done to resolve overcrowding of central and district jails, solid and liquid waste management in rural/urban areas, saturation of beneficiary farmers in Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, progress of completion of Jal Jeevan Mission schemes at district level, resolution of error correction cases in revenue records, rectification of revenue records in accordance with land acquisition award and providing revised record copy to the concerned department, pending cases of correction in revenue map and campaign for resolution, providing administrative assistance for certain hindrances under Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharjhuguda Gas Pipeline Project of Government of India, regular meeting of district level committee related to narcotics and agenda for discussion/review in the said meetings and seasonal diseases. Discussion was held regarding quick and intensive measures to deal with malaria, diarrhea etc.

Collector Richa Prakash Choudhary Collector Richa Prakash Choudhary said that eight main roads have been marked, action is being taken to remove cattle from those roads, they will be kept safe in the Kanj House with radium tagging. For this, cooperation is being taken from the Municipal Corporation and the Police Administration. Action is also being taken against the owners of cattle found on the roads. Regarding noise pollution, the Chief Secretary said that the instructions of the High Court should be followed. He said that strict action should be taken against those playing DJ at high volume and ensure confiscation as per the court orders. Under the environmental rules, the district administration should check vehicles with DJ through audio meters. Ensure immediate action wherever DJ is seen at high volume. He said that the police administration should construct barracks in the jails. Ensure that the barracks which are dilapidated are repaired. Jails should be kept clean.
