Drugs worth Rs 100 crore recovered from Pune

Pune: The Crime Branch team conducted a surprise raid in Vishrantwadi area of Pune. Medicines worth more than Rs 10 crore were seized during the raid. Apart from this, the police have also seized a stock of 52 kg of Mephedrone. In the last few days, the sale of drugs has increased in Pune city. Most of the youth fall into drug addiction. In this backdrop, Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar has directed the Pune Police to take direct action against drug smugglers.

The crime branch also raided Vishrantwadi area. At this point, large quantities of mephedrone were discovered. The price of this Mephedone is expected to be up to Rs 35 lakh. According to the police, this scam was started under the guise of selling salt so that no one could get suspicious.

The police took this important action while continuing the investigation of the case. There is every possibility of an international fight on this issue. Meanwhile, Pune Police has simultaneously seized drugs worth more than Rs 100 crore, which has created a stir in the city.
