Drug peddler arrested with 319 grams of brown sugar in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: A team of Bhubaneswar Special Task Force (STF) today arrested a drug peddler with 319 grams of brown sugar from the bank of Kuakhai River on Hi-Tech-Tankapani Road.
Acting on the tip off, the STF team conducted a raid ainst illegal dealing/possession of narcotic drugs and arrested one drug peddler namely Munal @ Mrunal Samal, a resident of Kesura Lane-2 under the Badagada Police station limits of Bhubaneswar.
During search, brown sugar weighing 319 grams, one Pulsar M/C and other incriminating materials were recovered and seized from Mrunal’s possession.
As the accused could not produce any valid authority in support of possession of the contraband materials, he was arrested and forwarded to the court of District Judge-cum-Special Judge, Khurda at Bhubaneswar.
In this connection STF PS Case No.12 dated 10.06.2025 U/s 21(C) of NDPS Act 1985 was registered. Investigation is on.
