Driver suffers heart attack in moving bus, dies

Hardoi. Today in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, the driver of a bus of Kannauj depot of State Transport Corporation suffered a heart attack while driving the bus. But due to the presence of mind of the driver, the lives of 40 passengers in the bus were saved. Actually, while driving the bus, the bus driver suddenly felt severe chest pain and difficulty in breathing, after which he stopped the bus in the middle of the road and got down from the bus and became unconscious as soon as he got down. After which the conductor of the bus, through the passengers on board, got the bus started and took the driver, who was in critical condition, to the medical college along with the passengers. Where the doctor declared him dead. Doctors at the Medical College have expressed fear of a heart attack and currently the body has been sent for post-mortem.

There were 40 passengers sitting in the bus when the driver had a heart attack. This bus was coming from Kannauj to Hardoi. Before dying, the driver showed courage which saved the lives of 40 people otherwise the bus could have met with an accident. The passengers heaved a sigh of relief after a major accident was averted. The body of the roadways bus driver is being taken into custody and the post-mortem is being conducted after filing the Panchayatnama. It is being told that this case of driver having heart attack in a moving roadways bus is near Semra intersection of Sursa police station area. The driver of the bus was Mansingh.
