Driver of 108 ambulances dismissed, action taken in bribery case

Ambikapur. In Chhattisgarh’s Surguja, the driver of 108 ambulance demanded money from the relatives for referring the patient. As soon as the information was received, the police started investigating the matter. The ambulance driver has been found guilty in the police investigation. After which he has been dismissed. Along with this, the drivers of the rest of the ambulances have been warned that such a case should not come up again.

Let me tell you, the 108 ambulance driver had demanded Rs 1,000 from a referred patient in the name of food. Whose video went viral on social media. Actually, a patient from Ambikapur Medical College Hospital was referred to Raipur for treatment. Meanwhile, 108 ambulance driver demanded money. Not only this, the driver was carrying two patients in the same ambulance. Which is a completely punishable offense.
