Driver and helper murdered in Raipur

Raipur News. Two people were killed in a double murder in Raipur’s Arang due to suspicion of smuggling while taking buffaloes in a truck to Odisha market for sale. Two jumped into the empty river to save themselves.

One died on the spot, the other died during treatment. The third is undergoing treatment in a private hospital. The names of the deceased are Chand Miya and Guddu Khan. The injured Saddam Khan is undergoing treatment. All the accused are absconding. According to the information received from Arang police station, the incident took place at around 3 o’clock in the night. Buffaloes were being transported in the truck.

During this, some people stopped the truck and beat up the driver and two others. During this, it is suspected that the driver and his companion jumped into the empty river to save themselves, due to which they died.
