Double Decker Bus Overturns In Delhis Karol Bagh 2 Dead Several Critical

New Delhi: A horrific bus accident took place in the national capital Delhi. Two people were killed and several others were injured when a double-decker bus overturned. The incident took place at Hanuman Murthy Chowk in Karol Bagh area of Delhi at around 1 am on Wednesday.
A bus carrying 25 passengers from Jaipur lost control and overturned due to speeding. Two people died in the incident and the other passengers were injured. After receiving information about the incident at midnight, the police and rescue teams reached the spot and took steps to rescue the victims. The passengers trapped inside the overturned bus were taken out. Locals also participated in the rescue operations. The darkness hampered the rescue operations. However, the victims were taken out and the injured were shifted to hospitals. The victims were shifted to prominent hospitals in Delhi, Sir Gangaram Hospital and Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.
Police said some of them are in critical condition. Two died due to serious injuries. Initial investigation revealed that the incident occurred due to the driver losing control of the speed control. The police have registered a case and are continuing the investigation into the accident.
