Doctors clash with each other over negligence in patient’s treatment

Durg. A case of assault has come to light between doctors of Sparsh Multi Specialty Hospital operating in Bhilai. It is being told that this dispute took place over a local doctor calling patients to the hospital run by him in Durg. Later doctors from both sides reached Supela police station. Police have registered a case from both the parties.

Director of Sparsh Hospital, Dr. Deepak Verma told that Dr. Deepak Kothari is a doctor in his hospital. For the last many years, complaints were coming that Dr. Kothari comes to the hospital to operate on the patients. After that, they do not follow up properly and call the patient for treatment at their hospital in Durg.

The doctors including the marketing staff there also complained about this in the board meeting. After this, the medical officer of the hospital, Dr. Sawant, warned him not to do so. Even after this, Dr. Deepak Kothari did not agree. He did the same on Friday, January 12, 2024. Dr. Deepak Kothari operated on a patient, but despite complaining of bleeding, he did not treat him properly, instead called the patient to his hospital. On hearing this, Dr. Deepak Kothari got enraged. He started abusing, threatening to see Dr. Verma. When Dr. Verma protested against this, a fight broke out between the two.
