Maa Durga Puja Method

For the puja, first of all, the worshipper should take a bath and wear clean and beautiful clothes and women should wear auspicious symbols. Then he should sit on the seat facing the east. Keep all the materials of worship with you. Establish a platform for the goddess on which spread a red cloth. Make an eight-petalled lotus of whole rice and place the idol of the goddess on the throne. If there is no idol, then install her film (picture), just the mother appeared in person. Before starting the puja, light a ghee lamp and place it on the right side of the platform over some rice. Say ‘Om Deepjyotishe Namah’ and sprinkle roli on the lamp and offer flowers.
