Distribution companies can be contacted to get natural gas through pipeline: Government
Tamil Nadu: Arun Roy, Industry Secretary of the Government, stated that in Tamil Nadu, the Commerce and Industry Department can contact LPG, Nugro, and city gas distribution companies to obtain piped natural gas (PNG) connections.

Due to problems with the supply of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), the central government initially reduced the LPG quota for the commercial and industrial sectors to 20 percent. Now, this has been increased to 50 percent with certain conditions. To receive the LPG quota, all commercial and industrial sectors and LPG consumers must register with the respective oil companies.
Also, they should apply for a piped natural gas (PNG) connection from the city gas distribution companies in their districts. Those interested in obtaining a PNG connection can contact the Commerce and Industry Department, LPG distributors, and city gas distribution companies.
