Distilled milk distribution project launched at Tiruchendur temple

Tamil Nadu : Hindu Religious and Endowments Minister Shekhar Babu inaugurated the programme to provide boiled milk to infants at Tiruchendur Subramanya Swamy Temple.
As per the announcement made by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin in the Assembly, a scheme to provide boiled milk daily to infants of devotees visiting 10 temples, including the Subramanya Swamy Temple in Tiruchendur, will be launched on Monday. The scheme will cost Rs 50 lakh per year.
Hindu Religious and Endowments Minister Shekhar Babu inaugurated the project at Tiruchendur Subramanya Swamy Temple and distributed boiled milk to infants of devotees visiting the temple’s public darshan path. Hindu Religious Endowments Commissioner Sridhar, Additional Commissioner Palani (Administration), Temple Thakkar Arulmurugan, Joint Commissioner Gnanasekaran, Zonal Joint Commissioner Anbumani, Tiruchendur Kottakshiyar Sukumaran, Taluk Akshiyar Balasundaram, were present at the event. Assistant Temple Commissioner Nagavel, Superintendent Rohini, Mariammal, Venkateshwaran, Ramamurthy Ajith, Tiruchendur Municipality President Shivanandi, former District Panchayat President Brahmashakthi and many others.
