Dispute over kite flying, sword thrown at young man

Ujjain. There was a dispute in Gadapulia area on Sunday regarding kite flying. In this, one party entered the other’s house and killed the other with a sword. The house was also vandalized. When the injured was admitted to the district hospital for treatment, he was beaten there also. Mahakal police has registered a case in the matter.

Police said that Amit Chauhan, nephew of Sunny Gamad (40 years old), resident of Gadapulia, was flying a kite from the roof of the house on Sunday. Here he had a dispute with his neighbors regarding kite flying. After this, seven-eight people including Guddu, his son Balram, Krishna and two nephews living in the neighborhood attacked Gamad’s house. Gamad was seriously injured when a sword hit his head.

It is alleged that Gamad’s house was also vandalized and nephew Amit was also beaten up. When Gamad was admitted to the district hospital for treatment, Balram beat him up there too. Police say that a case has been registered against the accused.
