Dismembered body of youth found on railway tracks in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident a youth was found dead on the Vani Vihar railway tracks in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday, said reports.

The dismembered body of the youth was spotted by the locals on the railway tracks. The head had been severed from the rest of the body. The incident was reported from the railway tracks under the Vani Vihar overbridge.

From preliminary investigation the police say that the youth has allegedly killed himself by laying down on the railway tracks. The youth is said to be around 30 to 35 years of age. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

The Vini Vihar police has reached the spot and is investigating into the matter. The body shall be recovered and sent for postmortem to ascertain the time and the cause of death. Detailed reports on the youth found dead in Bhubaneswar is awaited.

This incident comes close to heels with the recent death of the lady journalist Madhumita Parida in Bhubaneswar who had allegedly ended her life by jumping in front of the train from the Mausima overbridge in Bhubaneswar.
