Disabled person warns of committing suicide in government office, know why he is worried

Gariaband. Disabled Ashok Soni, who is tired of visiting the district office for a year for a loan, has given a final warning to the administration. In the memorandum submitted to the SDM, he said that if the loan is not given within seven days, he will commit suicide in front of the district office.

Disabled Ashok Soni, resident of Latapara, has submitted a memorandum in the SDM office on Tuesday warning of self-immolation. He told that under the Disabled Loan Scheme of the Social Welfare Department, he had applied for a loan a year ago through the Social Welfare Branch of Devbhog district. He has taken a shop on rent from the district by paying an earnest money amount of Rs 40,000.

He told that now he wants to increase the stock in the shop, so that he can meet the rent and living expenses of the shop. He also has the responsibility of maintaining his old mother. Amidst the financial crisis, I am tired of preparing documents for loan and making repeated visits to the district office. Every time there is delay in giving loan by making some new excuse or the other.
