Direct flight between India and China to resume soon: MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal

In a good news for travelers, direct flight between India and China shall resume soon. The same was discussed by the MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal on Thursday.

On direct air services between India and China, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal says, “In principle, both countries have agreed that flight operations will resume. The technical teams on both sides are looking into the technical arrangements for the flight services to resume.”

The Spokesperson further informed that, “The two civil aviation authorities have met and are discussing the relevant modalities, including the updated framework.”

On the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal told media, “We will soon issue a notice for the public on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. There is a possibility of resumption of the Yatra soon.”

Back in January, the Indian capital of New Delhi and The People’s republic of China capital Beijing had agreed on the resumption of direct flights during a meeting. The meeting was attended by foreign secretary Vikram Misri and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Kailash Mansarovar has great importance in Sanatan Dharma.
