Didn’t get Subhadra money? Govt advises to do these four things soon to get Rs 10,000 by March 8

Bhubaneswar: Are you also yet to get the first installment of Subhadra Yojana? If yes, the Odisha government has now advised the eligible beneficiaries to do four important things to get their first installment of Rs 5000 before March and second installment on March 8.

Over 18 lakh benefiters received their first installment of Rs 5000 on Saturday and with this, a total of 98 lakh benefiters have received their first installment, informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department.

It further said that the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) plays a vital role to ensure that money goes directly to the beneficiaries’ bank account. The NPCI helps in identifying the Payment Ready Beneficiary, which means money, if sent, will reach to the eligible beneficiaries’ account. However, some beneficiaries are yet to get the Subhadra money as they have not Enabled DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer), it added.

Therefore, the department has urged the eligible beneficiaries to do the following four things to get the Subhadra money.

Beneficiary should have singleholder bank count.
This singleholder bank count should be linked with her Aadhaar card.
The singleholder bank count should be DBT Enabled.
Beneficiary should update her biometric eKYC on the Subhadra portal
The applicants should know that the first three things will be done at the bank while the fourth work will be done either at the Jana Seva Kendra or Mo Seva Kendra, therefore, they should go to their bank and Jana Seva Kendra or Mo Seva Kendra to ensure doing all the above-mentioned works, the I&PR Department said.

As of now, above 1.5 lakh eligible beneficiaries are yet to complete their DBT Enabled or have not done eKYC on Subhadra portal with biometric or have done the eKYC with OTP, it informed adding that a list of these beneficiaries is available at the blocks, municipalities, Municipal Corporations and district levels. They also can find the list on the Subhadra portal, the department said while advising the beneficiaries to complete the above four things as soon as possible to get the first installment before March and second installment on March 8.
