Dhenkanal: Dadhinauti of east gate of famous Mahima Gadi in Joranda damaged due to lightning

Dhenkanal: The Dadhinauti of the east gate of the famous Sunya temple of Mahima Gadi in Joranda has reportedly been destroyed due to lightning. It has been seen that a part of the Dadhinauti, the pinnacle of the east gate has collapsed while the debris has fallen on the ground.
As per reports, a major part of the pinnacle of the east gate in the premises of the Sunya Mandira at the famous Mahima Gadi in Joranda, in Dhenkanal district of Odisha has collapsed. It has been said that the incident took place due to lightning. The debris has been fallen on the ground.
Reportedly, the area received rain and thunderstorm yesterday night when it struck the pinnacle and thus a major part of the pinnacle of the east side gate is destroyed.
There are four entrances to the main temple (Sunya Mandira) of Joranda Mahima Gadi. Lightning struck the east gate of that entrance and completely destroyed it.
Asked about the incident, Baba Nityanand Das, the head of the ‘Bakaladhari Mahima Samaj’ said that it happened following lightning struck yesterday night. He also expressed his sorrow over this.
