Dhamtari: Supranutrition Modak will increase the weight of malnourished children

Dhamtari. As per the intention of the state government and under the guidance of Collector Namrata Gandhi, every possible effort is being made to eliminate malnutrition among children in the district. In the same sequence, under the supervision of Ayurveda Department, Suposhan Modak is being prepared and given to the malnourished children of Anganwadis of the district. By consuming it, the health of children will improve and their weight will also increase hopefully.

District Ayurveda Officer Dr. Gurudayalaya Sahu said that with the aim of providing nutrition to the malnourished children of the district, initially Anganwadi centers in Umargaon, Chhinditola, Chest, Khartuli, Potiyadih, Loharsi, Muzgahan, Gattasilli, Kurra, Dahi, Angara, Hankara, It has been distributed in Semra, Kauhabahra, Dugli, Mandraud, Bhakhara, Katalbod, Amdi, Ghutkel, Singpur, Darra. This nutritional modak has been prepared by the AYUSH department from Ashwagandha powder, Mulathi, Balchartubhadra and jaggery. Malnourished children have to consume this modak twice a day, which will improve the level of malnutrition, develop the immunity of children and increase their weight. Besides, the mental and physical health of children will improve and children will also be saved from falling ill again and again. Consuming this modak strengthens the digestive system of children, which makes them more hungry and helps them digest whatever they eat. Apart from this, brain also develops. Children remain healthy due to the presence of iron and protein in Modak. He said that due to proper care, proper eating habits and medical advice, it will be easier to provide proper nutrition to the children of the district.
