Dhamtari: Bike rider arrested for selling liquor

Dhamtari. Police has taken action against the accused who was taking illegal liquor for sale. Police station Arjuni stopped a motorcycle Hero CD Deluxe No. CG-05AQ-6304 in front of village Arjuni electricity office on the basis of the description given by the informer and when asked his name and address, he told his name as Gajadhar Sahu, father Sarju Ram Sahu, age 50 years, resident of Kurmatarai and when the motorcycle was checked, 22 quarters of country made plain liquor, each containing 180 ml liquor, worth Rs. 1980/- and the used motorcycle worth Rs. 60,000/-, total Rs. 61,980/- were seized in front of witnesses and legal action was taken against the accused in police station Arjuni under section 34 (1) of Excise Act.
Arjuni police station Pra.R.Nitin Pandey, R.Prashant Pandey, Rajesh Sahu and Arjuni police had a special contribution in the entire action.
