Devastation due to sudden spark in Manali, seven lakh ashes
Manali. A fire broke out in shops running temporarily in kiosks near Mata Hidimba temple in the tourist city of Manali. The fire incident occurred around 3 am on Wednesday morning. Ten kiosks were burnt to ashes in the fire.
There was chaos in Dhungri village due to the fire at three in the morning. As soon as the information was received, the fire department team reached the spot.
As soon as the fire department reached the spot, the fire was controlled but by then the kiosks along with the goods were burnt to ashes. Due to the fire, 10 people Rajesh Kumar, Asha, Kala Devi wife Purna Chand, Meetu, Yashpal, Raja, Babli, Vavita Devi and Vishal, resident of Dhungri, have suffered a loss of about seven lakh rupees.
All the affected people are villagers of Dhungri village. Manali fire station in-charge Pritam Singh said that he received information about the fire at 3:10 in the morning.
The team reached the spot within ten minutes and extinguished the fire. Although people have suffered huge losses, the fire brigade has saved property worth about ten lakhs. DSP Manali KD Sharma said that ten people have suffered a loss of about seven lakhs due to the fire. Police have registered the case and started investigation.
