Deputy Commissioner presided over the closing ceremony
Come on Deputy Commissioner Kullu Ashutosh Garg while presiding over the concluding program of the five-day district level youth leadership training camp organized by the Youth Services and Sports Department Kullu on Tuesday said that the youth play an important role in building a healthy society. He called upon the youth and said That they came forward to use their energy in a positive direction to make Kullu district a leader in terms of development.
Calling upon the youth, the Deputy Commissioner said that they should create awareness about cleanliness in their respective areas and to keep the youth away from the habit of drugs. He said that if the district is clean then more and more tourists will come here. Due to which the economic condition of the people of the district will be strengthened. He said that people should also be made aware not to throw garbage in the open so that the surrounding environment remains clean.
He said that along with playing an important role in public opinion formation, the youth should also contribute in removing the evils spread in the society.
He said that many schemes and programs have been started by the government for the welfare of the youth and all sections of the society, the youth can play a leading role in spreading the information to the eligible people so that more and more eligible people can be benefited from them. He said that today’s era is the digital era, in such a situation it is necessary for the youth to have all kinds of information.
On this occasion, the participants participating in the youth leadership training camp also shared their experiences of the training. Youth Services and Sports Officer Kavita welcomed the chief guest. She also informed about the activities done during the five-day district level youth leadership training camp. She said that such camps are organized by the department from time to time. In this leadership training camp, youths from all the five sub-divisions of the district have participated.
