Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma launches a strong counter-attack on Rahul Gandhi.

Raipur. Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma has strongly criticized the statement made by Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in Germany regarding India’s electoral process and democracy. He accused Rahul Gandhi of resorting to foreign countries to blame EVMs or agencies whenever he loses elections or faces action in corruption cases. Speaking to the media in Raipur, Vijay Sharma said that Rahul Gandhi is raising concerns about the investigating agency in Germany, whereas he should have raised this issue in India, where the public plays a decisive role. The Deputy Chief Minister said, “The people of India will decide what is right and what is wrong. What will be achieved by raising questions in Berlin? If he is not satisfied with Berlin, he will go to Italy. When he loses elections, he blames the EVMs; when action is taken on corruption, he alleges irregularities in the ED. When will you accept your own mistakes?”

Vijay Sharma said that Rahul Gandhi’s statement is against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his ideology. He clarified that there can be no disagreement with PM Modi’s nationalist ideology. The Deputy Chief Minister emphasized that the Modi government is working to take the Constitution and democracy to every corner of the country. “Earlier, the Constitution was not followed in many areas of Chhattisgarh. Today, compliance with the Constitution is being ensured almost everywhere,” he said. The Deputy Chief Minister also said that Rahul Gandhi should understand that it is not easy to blame the RSS or the BJP in any democratic process or government action. He also countered CPI leader D. Raja’s statement on the RSS, saying that Raja will never understand the RSS correctly. “Governments have been formed in many states of the country, institutions are working in the service sector, he will not understand all this,” Vijay Sharma said.

Vijay Sharma’s statement made it clear that the BJP leadership considers Rahul Gandhi’s statements abroad as negative and inappropriate towards the country. He said that the electoral process in India is completely transparent and democratic, and no political party needs to go abroad to make statements to shift the blame. The BJP leadership in Chhattisgarh also believes that Rahul Gandhi’s statement in Berlin is nothing more than a political maneuver. The Deputy Chief Minister warned the Congress party, saying that the people of the country are now discerning all political claims and allegations, and such statements raise questions about the country’s democratic image. Vijay Sharma emphasized that opposition parties like Congress and the CPI should engage in debates based on truth and facts, instead of going abroad and questioning India’s electoral process and institutions. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is giving top priority to the Constitution, democracy, and national interest.
