Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma expresses gratitude to doctors for providing excellent medical services in Kawardha.

Kawardha. A ceremony was organized by Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma to honor the doctors who have contributed to making healthcare facilities excellent. Doctors from Kawardha’s district hospital and private hospitals were present on this occasion. The Deputy Chief Minister participated in the ceremony with everyone, honored them with a shawl and a coconut, and had dinner with them. He had a detailed discussion with everyone on further improving medical services in Kawardha. He especially honored the doctors who have served the people by organizing health camps in the remote forest areas of the district.

He expressed his gratitude to all the doctors for their excellent medical services in Kawardha and said that doctors are like half-gods; they save people’s lives in any emergency situation, and this work can only be done with a spirit of service. Here, along with the local doctors of Kawardha, doctors from outside have also adopted Kawardha and served the people here wholeheartedly, for which the entire Kawardha is grateful.

He informed that for the expansion of health facilities in Kawardha, approval has been given for 40 posts for a 50-bed maternity and child hospital, a Critical Care Hospital Block at a cost of Rs. 16.63 crore in Kabir Dham District Hospital, a CT scan, a state-of-the-art Integrated Public Health Lab, an OT and power backup system in Hamar Lab, increasing the capacity of Kabir Dham District Hospital from 100 beds to 220 beds, and approval has also been given for 258 new posts for this. In addition, an ambulance has been provided to Community Health Center Pipariya and Primary Health Center Rengakhar, and a sonography machine has been provided to Community Health Center Bodla. Government accommodation has been provided for residence at Community Health Center Bodla, and Public Health Units have been inaugurated at Community Health Center Pipariya and Community Health Center Sahaspur Lohara. Sub-Health Center Raja Nawagaon has been upgraded to a Primary Health Center and Primary Health Center Taregaon has been upgraded to a Community Health Center. Most importantly, approval has been granted for the construction of a medical college at a cost of Rs. 318.27 crore, which will transform Kawardha into a medical hub. Residents will now have access to facilities comparable to those in major cities.
