Deputy Chief Minister to visit Pudukkottai today

Tamil Nadu : Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin is arriving in Pudukottai district on Friday to participate in various party and government programs. These programs will run for two days. On reaching Pudukottai, he will inaugurate the newly built Ambedkar statue near Gandharvakottai bus stand at 6.30 pm on Friday. After this, he will inaugurate the state level Kabaddi tournament organized by DMK in Mangalore at 7.30 pm. The next day (May 24) on Saturday at 10 am, he will attend a review meeting with various departmental officials at the District Collectorate. He will also review the projects implemented in the district in the last 4 years, projects to be implemented and projects under notification. After this, he will release orders for Housing Scheme and Artist Dream Home Scheme at 11.30 am. After this, at 4 pm, the late senior party executive Meesa Ira. Duraimanikam will inaugurate the film. After this, there will be a meeting with women self-help groups at Nathampannai at 4.30 pm.

Udhayanidhi Stalin will speak at the state seminar on rationality, social justice and state autonomy organised by the DMK medical team in Pallathuvayal area at 5.30 pm.

At 6.30 pm he will distribute residence certificates to transgenders at Kallukkuviyalpatti near Ilaivayal. He will then reach Trichy by road.

Minister S. Raghupathi, Siva.V. Miyanathan, District Secretary K.K. Chellapandian, MP M.M. Abdulla, Mayor S. Thilagavathi, MLA Y. Muthuraja, State Deputy Secretary of the medical team Annamalai Raghupathi and others have made the arrangements.

Minister’s inspection: Minister S. Raghupathi inspected Kandharavakottai on Thursday on the occasion of the Deputy Chief Minister’s visit. MLA M. Chinnadurai, District Superintendent of Police Abhishek Gupta and Deputy Superintendent of Police Abdul Rahman were present.
