Dense fog continues to blanket Odisha, rainfall likely in state from tomorrow
Bhubaneswar: Despite a relief from the severe cold, Odisha continues to remain covered in dense fog. Due to the high amount water vapour in the atmosphere, the state continues to experience heavy fog. Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and Nayagarh of Odisha are currently experiencing severe fog. Forecasts from the Regional Meteorological department predict moderate fog in Southern Odisha and slight rainfall in Northern parts of the state.
Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj districts of Odisha might experience light rain showers under the influence of Western disturbances. Similarly, Bhadrak, Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, and Keonjhar might experience moderate rainfall on February 2. Significant change in weather will be witnessed in Odisha from February 3.
