Demonstration of nano urea spraying by drone in Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra

As per the instructions of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, “Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra” program is being implemented in the district with the aim of involving the beneficiaries and creating awareness about various centrally implemented schemes. According to the instructions of the government, along with benefiting the farmers of the district from various schemes and programs, during the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra program, there was widespread awareness among the farmers about the use of nano fertilizers by organizing experimental demonstrations using drones on the farmers’ fields. Publicity has to be ensured. In the same sequence, on 29 December 2023, Nano Urea and D.A.P was applied in wheat crop through drone in village Borai, development block Durg. Spraying has been widely publicized among the farmers by organizing live demonstrations. In the said program, S.K.Thapak, Senior Agricultural Scientist, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Anjora, O.P. Bhatt, Agricultural Development Officer, V.Sajil, Rural Agriculture Extension Officer, VK-Durg, Bhana Bai District Member, Padma Sahu Sarpanch, farmers Jhavendra Bhushan, Deepak Yadav, Lochan Sinha, Bhopal Sahu, Parmand Yadav and other 30 farmers along with other officials of the Agriculture Department were present.

Field officers have also received applications for Kisan Credit Card from 43 farmers.
