Demand for compact cars and sedans will increase in July 2024

Aura is a compact sedan from South Korean automobile company Hyundai. This car ranked second in sales last month. A total of 4757 units of this car were sold till July 2024. 4,514 units were sold last year, which corresponds to an increase of more than 5% compared to the previous year. The ex-showroom price of Aura starts at Rs 6.48 lakh. The top model can be purchased for up to Rs 9.05 lakh.

Honda also offers Amzae in this category. The company’s most affordable sedan Amaze has sold 2,327 units till July 2024. A total of 3,386 units were sold last year. According to the sales figures, it has decreased by more than 31% compared to last year. Prices start at Rs 793,000 and go up to Rs 9.13 lakh for the top model.

Tigor is marketed as a compact sedan by Tata Motors. Sales also declined by more than 44% compared to last year. Cumulative sales last month were 1495 units. A total of 2,684 units were sold last year. Prices start at Rs 6.3 lakh and the top model is available up to Rs 9.55 lakh.
