Delhi Police reunites 154 missing persons, including 39 children, with their families

In a significant success under “Operation Milap,” the South-West District Police have traced and reunited 155 missing persons, including 39 children, with their families during the month of March, officials said on Thursday.
According to police, the recovered individuals include 39 missing or kidnapped children and 116 adults, all of whom were safely reunited with their families between March 1 and March 31.
The operation forms part of a broader effort, under which a total of 348 missing persons, including 98 minors and 250 adults, have been traced in the district so far this year.
The prompt action was initiated immediately after receiving complaints of missing or kidnapped individuals. Search operations involved extensive local enquiries, scanning of CCTV footage, and dissemination of photographs at key public locations such as auto stands, e-rickshaw stands, bus terminals, and railway stations, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest) Amit Goel said in a press statement.
The DCP added that the cops also engaged with transport workers, including bus drivers and conductors, as well as local vendors, to track the movement of missing persons.
